Almost forgot to brag about this. I won a pinball tournament at the Midwest Gaming Classic over the weekend. Not much money, but lots of pride. There are some tough players on the list below me, including the 11th ranked player in the world. I was the only guy to roll* Pop-a-Card.

    * Score enough points on an older game to roll the mechanical score reels back around to zero.

I should've! Loses its power in a hotel full of 99.9% white people, though.

I almost never play tourneys, and it's just as important how often you compete as how well you compete, so my ranking will always be in the dumps. Only reason I played Clock Chaos is I was getting to town early and had nothing else to do before the convention opened the next morning. I've considered playing more of them, but the tourney grinders seldom look happy. It would be even more of an exercise in frustration for someone of my meager skill set.

FWIW, 6024th doesn't include my recent victory, so I'll probably jump up a couple thousand irrelevant places.

Some girl I used to woefully crush on from the hometown is now crushing on me. Six PBRs in, listening to some Rolling Stones records, and getting excited about my date with her tomorrow. Yup, whatever.

Had a pretty bad scare last week when it was brought to my attention during oral sex that I had a strange lump on my right nut. Before my doctor appointment today I had basically written my eulogy.

The doctor told me it was not cancer but a Spermatocele - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spermatocele. This is basically a harmless cyst on my nut that does not cause pain and was only found because she was really looking for something.

Each month I have an inspection done to make sure there isn't anything out of the ordinary. If you're over 30 you should be doing this as well.

Bottom line, I have a weird thing that is barely the size of a pea on my right nut but I am going to fucking live!!!

You sort of remind me of members-only Ninja Turtles Fan Forum's own version of Hank Moody. Sorry in advance if you take offense to that, it's intended as a compliment.

Glad you to hear you got a good bill of health too.

I had a cyst on my scrotum when I was in 2nd grade. After he removed it, the doctor held the mass up in front of my face with a pair of tweezers and asked me if I wanted to keep it. That's a pretty fucking aggressive and weird thing to do to an 8 year old kid, and I said no thanks, but it wasn't long before I'd wished I'd said yes. Still regret that decision.

Realized I forgot to get my niece an Easter gift. Just wandered out to Toys R Us in flannel pants, a sleeveless shirt and after 3 beers.

I was like "Fuck it, I don't have cancer of the nuts I'll do what I want."

Testicle/prostate cancer is some scary stuff.

I really did expect science to have that stuff beat. I was reading an article once where it was projected cancer was going to be done by 2015.

    Seems overly optimistic now.

However, I heard they cured a baby of AIDS recently. So maybe there will be a breakthrough in 2 years or so.

    Fuck. Fairly depressing.
