Loving the shit out of "All You're Waiting For." Haven't heard anything else from the album yet.

anyway if anyone wants to hear this then it's here http://www.mediafire.com/?wb1aezhakn541cg

I just don't understand why you're buying shit on iTunes, B. Probably cheaper than shipping, but fuck that all the same.

I'm stealing After Dark 2 of course, but I'll probably also buy it on vinyl once IDIB presses it. Their stuff is very reasonably priced, and I have a bunch of it. Just don't want to pay for anything twice.

There were a bunch of 30 year old dudes freaking out and thrusting their fists in the air as if they were experiencing some sort of righteous, musical reawakening.

this is of course what I have done but at the time of posting no links were available. Anywhere! it's ok guys I know how to use the Internet.

I may well get around to buying it direct from IDIB given that, as yancy says, their prices are very reasonable. But given how long it took Johnny jewel to upload this album in mp3 format, and given what happened with Kill For Love, I'm not expecting to see a vinyl edition for another few months.

Wish I had two more thanks buttons to use in this thread. Zebrahead is the best mallpunk band no one ever heard.

There's tons of music videos on Youtube so they've got a huge number of singles but it feels like the only song that Q101 ever played was "Check" and that was only for a short time after it came out. One of those bands that was popular everywhere else in the country but here?

I don't think they were very popular anywhere. My record store co-worker Jake introduced me to them, and it felt like our little secret (in southeast Missouri, fwiw). Kinda surprised to learn they were played on a big corporate rock station anywhere outside of their hometown. Definitely one of those bands TGDB would (rightfully) mock me for being a big fan of. See also: Lit, Marvelous 3.

I guess I'll just take this moment to state that the phrase "Yancy didn't get into American Hi-Fi until the third album" has really stuck with me over the years.

I was pretty into their second album, but yeah, third one is the Butch Walker-produced power pop gem of the trilogy.
