    Chiropractors? Empty Chiropractors?

Have you ever gone to one of these?

My mom took me to one when I was a kid because I was sickly and had lots of allergies. So I have vivid memories of having my back and my neck cracked when I was like 8 or something. Sometimes I think that would really hit the spot right about now and that it's just what I need these days.

Or maybe it's all a bunch of bullshit? You tell me!

My girlfriend goes to one when she throws her back out which happens maybe once a year. She loves it for that but not for general soreness.

My soon to be ex convinced me to go to one and it was strange and I felt kind of uncomfortable. Afterwards I felt good but only temporarily.

I remember you posting you about it but I'm sure it was somewhere on the old board. It was in the back of my mind when I started this thread... which is probably not going to lead to a bunch of future posts on the subject, if I can just be honest about it

What usually happens is she would go get an adjustment which my insurance covered, but she would also buy like $200 worth of vitamins and other stuff every visit

Chiropractors always scared me, I never wanted someone adjusting my back, the spine is serious business you could get paralyzed. I’m paranoid, yes

I am with you. I have a deep fear of chiropractors and the thought of my neck or back getting cracked and adjusted makes me light headed.

Personally, not sold. I went to one quite a few times when I was younger. They wanted to adjust me every x number of days... and it always felt pretty good... and it always cost money... and there were no real changes in my overall well-being... and eventually I no longer lived with my parents so I no longer went. Bottom line, I definitely don't think I felt any better or any healthier when under treatment by a chiropractor than I do now, under treatment of myself cracking my own neck like an idiot whenever I feel like it. If something's no shit really out of whack, than definitely go to a chiropractor to un-fuck it. But if it's not... maybe eat better or learn yoga or something dumb like that.
