Probably preaching to the choir here, but it never ceases to amaze me how little most of these fanatics seem to care about living, breathing humans, especially compared to their fanatical devotion to unborn fetuses.

Brain going in a circle about the most Christian (or Muslim, pick one) nations with populations who most strongly identify as Christians (Muslims) and proving it by acting the least Christian (Muslim).

My friend Dan (the guy who's always taking obscene dumps and making offensive jokes) very often lays into those protesters.  He never changes any minds, I'm sure, but he enjoys being on the front lines.  So to speak.

What I assume is a little-known fact, around here: Dan is generally shockingly progressive.  He's a union leader and has negotiated two pay raises for his crew within the last two years while preaching (with little success) further collectivism.  And he's been shaken to his core by his fellow blue-collar types eagerly boarding Trump's ship, since 2015.  Currently considering changing his line of work in hopes of making more of a difference in society.  Believe it or not, the dude's considering going back to school to become a history teacher.  Shit is wild.

Satan didn't nail Christ to the cross, he tried to tempt Jesus to avoid crucifixion, which was part of God's plan for our salvation.

    That's, like, Christianity 101.

Not really an elite parenting post, sorry if that's getting away from the purpose of this thread.

This made me think of every mandatory training I’ve ever had to do for work, especially the one during the Trump administration where I had to prove my heterosexuality.

Twas just joking.  But the fucked up trans servicemember ban did make it feel like we were one more term away from reinstituting a no LGBT policy in the armed forces.  Which is also an organization notorious for trotting out useless mandatory training and having servicemembers print out their certificates of completion.

No idea what the actual origin of that photo is, but I laughed at it even though it's terrifying.
