It's fine and good to tell someone you love them. But is "only I love you, no one else does, only me" really the best way to go about it

This dude cries twice in the same verse, just completely loses it actually, and I have no idea what the problem even is here.

As a DARE brainwashed young teen, I understood his pain and anguish because there was literally nothing worse than getting drunk or stoned and he must have been completely devastated that she could possibly want to experience either of those sinful and destructive extremes. He's trying so hard to control her for her own good but nothing he tries is enough!

I thought the whole shtick behind this band was they were bros you'd meet at a keg party or something
