while i like biscuits, they offer up a terrible structural base for use as a sandwich. i go bun 100% of the time when given the bun v biscuit offer.

i made some corn chowder the other day and it was great for dinner. while most soups tend to improve over time, i discovered the sugars in the corn break down further and invade the broth flavor, making the entire spoonful far too sweet and homogenous after a couple of days intermingled. corn chowder, not for leftover lunch later in the week.

I can't believe I never responded to this. Yea I eat there all the time and buy stuff from their meat counter to grill at home too.

When you're waiting for your order they bring out a glass of hot tea that is insanely delicious.

i would and nearly do eat Mediterranean food every day.

there's a Downtown Farmer's Market on Wednesdays that serves the freshest, most delicious falafel plates. a mound of fresh, herbaceous tabbouleh, hummus, tzatziki, jalapeno hot sauce, and four amazingly crisp falafel balls w/ a pita. there is nothing better.
