    I have enjoyed

    m b v
    Random Access Memories
    After Dark 2
    Inform - Educate - Entertain
    Settle

I should probably spend more time listening to new music.

I don't have any kind of list, just 3 or 4 albums I've really enjoyed and a lot of disappointments.

That said, 2013 has had something for everyone so far!

Bruegel to thread. I'd love to see any rough list so I can jam the fuck out to some recommendations this week. The only thing left in this room is a Bose speaker that I have sitting in the corner of the room. Everything else has left or is non-operational.

Paves, I am probably going to masturbate into a trashbag at some point this week. im feelin it

Betty Who - The Movement EP
    Random Access Memories
Haim's increasingly impressive pile of singles, and their almost certainly great forthcoming LP.
    Oliver - Mechanical EP
Liked what I heard of the new Strokes album.
After Dark 2 didn't meet my high expectations, but is still a welcome mood piece. Follow the title's instructions and don't listen before sundown.
    Free Energy - Love Sign
The new Phoenix is growing on me. Lots of great melancholy gems on side two. Still not that into the oversaturated bangers on side one.
I still want to hear the new Fall Out Boy, embarrassingly enough.

I don't have a list but the BWM EP by SpaceGhostPurrp is something I listen to a lot. Despite WavesWithin's support, it's some pretty good rap music.

And I still need to listen to the new Ashanti album.

I think "Where Are We Now?" is my favorite single of the year. I inexplicably lose my shit every single time I hear it. It's some really powerful, emotional balls to the wall shit. When that single dropped it totally reinvigorated my dormant adulation of David Bowie.

No order, but top 10 would be something like: Charli XCX, Classixx, Emma Louise, Kurt Vile, Laura Marling, MBV, Quadron, Savages, Tiffany Evans, & Vampire Weekend

also really liked Still Corners, Kyle Hall, Dawn Richard, Disclosure, Kacey Musgraves, DJ Koze, Phoenix, Justin Timberlake, Bilal, Rhye

would like to / need to hear DJ Overdose and Neville Watson

    In no order

    Serfina Steer
    My Bloody Valentine
    Hookworms
    Savages
    Laura Marling
    David Bowie
    Unknown Mortal Orchestra
    Kurt Vile
    John Grant
    Public Service Broadcasting

Honourable mentions to Daughter and Disclosure which need more spinning.

Strong year IMO, would take this over my 2012 top ten right now.

I tried that Daughter record, found it very flimsy and it seemed to last a decade; they also succeeded in sucking all the life out of "get lucky" when covering it.

In the gossamer-voiced weepy girlpop stakes, I would highly highly recommend the Emma Louise album Vs Head Vs Heart which I don't think has had an international release yet - if not I will happily upload it.
