All time great band/group/whatever. Hope my hypothetical kids don't see me as Rob Gordon with a Doors record when I spin stuff like Run DMC.

Funny, I always felt like Walk this Way was a perfectly cool song which became sort of lame when they tried to make it all funky. "Taaaalk this waaa-aay." meh.
It always sort of annoyed me that this was an important event in music. Neither of these two bands' finest moments imo, but it was the one lame moment where they both broke down the barriers or whatever, so music people felt like they had to give a shit. Two very good bands otherwise, imo.

Maybe you just had to be there. I was like 4 and musically all I cared about was listening to Abbey road while I fell asleep in the car on the way to my grandma's.

Peter Piper has one of the best beats of all time. Raising Hell is a classic, start to finish no bad songs. Can't believe that isn't the common opinion here...

There are very few early Aerosmith songs that could ever be improved and "Walk This Way" is not one of them.

Fuck these dudes and that no shoelace white sneaker gimmick.

I also prefer late period Aerosmith so I don't wanna give Run DMC full credit here. Steve Tyler went hard on that chorus the second time around.

The only thing worse than Run DMC would be if Will Smith had two brothers and they formed a trio.
