    Curtains

Post by Soma on Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:38 pm

I mean in your own home, obviously. Would be pretty weird to go around drawing other people's curtains.

I just hate the idea that any passer by could look in and see what I'm doing. Not that it would be drastically different from whatever they do in their home.

i go through life feeling like people are looking at me because i'm looking at them, so i'm fairly stupidly dedicated to closing curtains

I feel sort of trapped in a way when curtains are closed, and I'm a big fan of seeing sunlight without having to actually, like, be in it. Plus, natural light helps save on electricity costs associated with lighting your room. And my cats like to bird watch.

Open in the daytime, closed at night.

Also my curtains are closed at all times due to high theft rate where I live, and can't let anyone know about my music gear.

My apt is in the back of the building and my windows aren't really visible to anything/one else. If the people with the weird angled view into my unit from a few stories up are spying on my unit they're probably seeing a lot of my unit.

Voted for both because I could but I guess it do both for whatever reason. Mind your own business.

Yes, unless it's really hot or there's glare on the TV or something. Think I have some kind of mild seasonal affective disorder where I really crave at least a smidge of sun each day.
