Well shit, Alfie's -2. Starting to rethink this heel turn already.

Are they going to play a shortened season again because it is so much better than the usual long ass schedule.

Reuben, is your allegiance to Alfie actually turning you into a Wings fan or is this some sort of sick joke that I missed out on during my hiatus?

Excited to watch a full season this year as that means I can watch the Hawks face the Sens and Habs a few times this year. And the new conference reconfiguration makes it an even more compelling season, although less so if your team ended up in the Western conference.

Go Hawks! Go Sens! Go Hockey!

It pretty much came down to a selfish decision in terms of Ottawa has not won a Stanley Cup, a big priority for me. I didn't really see myself making a change if you would have asked me a week ago, but as we got closer to the start of the season thoughts started creeping in I've watched 21 years and they haven't won a Stanley Cup.

I feel that in Ottawa they are getting closer and closer and they have a really bright future in front of them, but at this point in my career there's not much left. I don't have the time to wait for that.

I just really like the way Detroit plays hockey. It's a possession game, a push-the-play game. The culture of Detroit really thrills me with what I've heard.

Assuming that was a direct quote. Good boarding.
Couldn't take my eyes off the puck the first 5 times I watched that gif play out. Then looked in the background.

I hear he trimmed down this offseason. Used to fantasize about a lean, mean, fully committed Byfuglien back in his Hawk days. Perhaps Winnepeg gets it this year.

I'd like one of these jerseys with SASKAMOOSE on the back

he Vancouver Giants open their Western Hockey League regular season on Friday and they will be wearing a tribute jersey that will honour B.C.'s hockey history and First Nations' contribution to that history. The jersey was unveiled at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver on Thursday. The 'lazy cross' on the crest is the brand of the Alkili Lake Ranch, and was worn by the Alkili Lake Braves in their successful quest for the Northern League title in 1931.
