The inevitable time-stretching turns her sibilant consonants into a lisp not unlike Herbert of Family Guy fame. Lyrics work well for him, too.

Roy Orbison was my first impression too! Then I heard Herbert, so now it's harder to imagine Roy.

I've been on quite the Orbison jag lately. I know it's fairly well known by anyone lucky enough to not have their head up their ass, but "Crying" is some top ten all-time shit. This version

is my current favorite. This "'Jolene' at 33" thing scratches my Orbison itch well enough, even w/ that Everlastish intro.

"All Right Now" by Free is the best 45 on 33 I've ever heard. No one's youtubed it yet though.

Rush's "Working Man" at 33 1/3 becomes a stoner doom anthem par excellence, like Sleep meets Melvins meets St. Vitus.

This isn't what the thread is about but I just noticed that 'Leave the Capitol' is the sonic blueprint for Life Without Buildings' entire shtick.

I like how it momentarily sound like Beck's Novacane but then the vocals come in sounding like The Wurzels go doom.

The imagery of this video is absolutely perfect as well. True troglodyte stoner sludge rock if ever I've heard it.
