West? Yes. East? I don't want to watch Miami that much, and I don't think it'll be that close.

I'm curious to see if Doc will get fined, which is standard for a coach ranting about officiating, or if the league will call it even and just let it go. For the league's sake, I'd recommend the latter. At best it was a close call, at worst a facepalm mistake potentially ending a title contender's season. I'm rooting for OKC and I still feel bad for LAC.

All that said, Chris Paul made a bunch of bonehead mistakes down the stretch, and he owned up to every bit of it.

Lance is awesome. Living embodiment of swag.

Thunder vs. Spurs game 5 tonight could be the best game of the playoffs. Feels like the most consequential. I just hope it's not another blowout. So far nothing has topped the Rockets/Blazers series for me.

How amazing would it be if Lance instigated Wade to commit a flagrant 2, get ejected from game 6, suspended for game 7, and cost Miami the series? The league wouldn't suspend a Miami player for a game 7 unless Birdman whipped out a semiautomatic weapon, though.

Most of the b-ball bashing I come across on the Internet comes from fans of the 2 sports left in the world where racism is still commonly accepted, why am I not surprised.

I really just think the league isn't all that competitive or exciting. I can watch hockey, soccer, and sometimes baseball as a neutral supporter and still have a pleasant enough time but the same cannot be said about basketball. Also, the ease with which a flagrant or technical foul is assessed is pretty off putting. Sometimes I find myself watching basketball highlights from the late 70s-early 90s and am amazed by the tenacity and physicality on display.

I watched a lot of Bulls games the year before this and had fun watching but the stalled #Return was just too much for me this year. I suppose a healthy Rose, rested Noah, and the addition of Love would probably tempt me back onto the bandwagon though.

After how ridiculous the Lebron criticism was after Game 1 I am now fully invested and want him to destroy this Spurs team.

Were people offended the Spurs players were wearing their nations' flags last night to celebrate winning an American NBA title?

people predisposed to being upset about that sort of thing likely aren't tuning into the NBA finals. maybe if mike miller and kyle korver were starting on a team

Oh yeah, anyone who watches NBA basketball is always hugely offended by American exceptionalism.
