I think we all know who he's talking about.
Billy is just mad because Joe Buck never points him out in the crowd.

I watched like two other games all season and my heart could barely take this.

Though I'm suspecting my anxiety over the election kinda got transferred over to this thing. Here's hoping 4 a similar if less exciting result next Tuesday.

I went down to Wrigleyville after class with a friend of mine to watch the game. I couldn't get into any of the bars so I took a taxi down to Lincoln Park 4 a few innings to relax and in the seventh inning headed back north (thinking that the game was basically over).

I was in an alleyway chanting with hundreds of people watching the game through someone's apartment window when Chapman gave up the homerun that tied the game. I spent the rest of the night about 100 yards from the marquee watching the game through the window of a bar with a bunch of people. 4 a while I was even sitting inside of an NBC truck because their feed was ahead and the dudes were nice enough to let me in 4 a while.

I can't even explain how I feel right now. When the last out happened I just started hugging everyone. This older woman in the crowd was bawling so hard and we hugged 4 a solid minute and I couldn't stop crying.

It's been probably the toughest year of my life. Being able to watch this team on a nightly basis was a unique pleasure. They took me away from my problems 4 three hours a day when I really, really needed it.

I love everything about this team, even Chapman and Heyward. I love all of U guys too.

    Go Cubs!

Still can't believe this. Game ended and I sat down in front of my TV. Couldn't move until a few minutes later when I texted my dad and told him to give my mom a hug from me.

All she's been thru the past few years I'm glad she got to C this. All the games my dad has taken me to since I was a kid. Getting into the Cubs because my best friend in first grade, Michael Venturini, was a fan. After '03 feeling such disappointment that I'd maybe never C them win.

    Holy shit this is incredible.

I'm so happy 4 the people of Wrigleyville, who probably didn't have much good in their lives before today except maybe the ginger man and that hotdog place in the metro parking lot.

I'm so happy 4 U and your parents Nick! I hope U R planning on going to the parade tomorrow and skipping work! And Zappo, I hope this is bringing U a lot of joy and it helps U turn things around 4 yourself.

All U guys R the best! I don't know if I am going to be able to focus on anything 4 the next few months. I'm just gonna have a permanent smile glued to my face all winter. I've reached out to basically everyone I know over the past twelve hours to just tell them how much I love them. I'm going to the parade tomorrow with my friend from Naperville and I can't wait.

Also can't wait 4 the repeat to happen next year! The Cubs have always won it in pairs!! lol!

How is this going down with undecided voters in Ohio?

How many announcers dream of broadcasting game 7 of a World Series?

This home run made it a one-run ballgame but whoever has the call here sounds bored out of his mind by it all.

I'd be perfectly fine with this off-season lasting forever! Pretty pumped for Opening Day though. I was hoping to head down to St. Louis next Sunday but it doesn't look like I can swing that anymore.

    Gonna go back to back.

Glad the Cubs finally won. We were getting close to asking if Madden should be on the hot seat.

Like most of my autographed cards, I've never been 100% sure that it's real, I harbor suspicion towards almost all of them to a degree.

Joe Buck fired shots at the White House, a little while ago.  Can't find video, but he made fun of Smoltz (who'd just made a joke by using made-up, exaggerated stats) for "lying to a national audience...I mean, not that that doesn't happen every day..."
