They can both be good this isn't a contest but lately I've just been thinking about this and it's like damn, why did it take this long for me to figure this out?

is ///Codename: Dustsucker just as good as Loveless or even better?

I've listened to this album every day for a month now.
As long as I'm making arbitrary comparisons, it's a lot more interesting than Kid A and that's a compact disc that I really love.

I think I liked Hex more, but Codename: Dustsucker is very, very good too. I am not sure it is as good as Loveless- despite it's somewhat "over hyping", Loveless still sounds pretty damn monstrous and contemporary.
Loveless doesn't sound... "cheap", so to speak. Like a few other records that have had a lot of praise and hype heaped on them tend to do even if they are/were pretty decent records. Guess I am saying that Loveless really does sound "timeless" or classical in some regard. Independent of and despite the critical circle jerk that can lead to a kind of jaded bias toward other modern "classix".
Like I listened to that Streets record a few weeks ago and that Danny Brown record. Yea, those records are well done. But they sound prrreeetttty reaching nowadays for such relatively recent recordings.

Listened to this album last night and yeah, the OP comparisons are certainly reasonable. I would probably rate this over DI Go Pop as well. Thank you, it had been too long since I had listened.

The Bark Psychosis discography is really strong. Truly "elite" music achievement. In my opinion. That includes all the bullshit singles and "miscellaneous" tracks. Answer to the OP is "YES/PERHAPS."

Listened to some Disco Inferno today after a long hiatus I feel like this thread had something to do with that. It still sounded like good music to me!
