That jersey is insane and awesome. The Tetris piece is an L for "Laval Voisins," an old Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team.

Hey Reub! You know anything about the Birmingham Senators? I'm watching them play a close 1-1 game in Norfolk right now.

The Binghamton Senators? JG Pageau is a tiny hero from the Habs series two years ago. A lot of Sens fans think he and Claessen should be called up. How did Prince look?

Haven't been posting enough about hawkiee!

I have high hopes for the annual circus road trip. When going gets tough, the Hawks get going.

Habs are taken it to Boston (again) right now. 2-0. Game is being aired on NHL Network for those of you with an elite cable package.

    I like all these goals!!
But I don't know what white flight is.

Sorry Reuben, missed that post up thread. Didn't know what to look for, then game started gettin out of hand, then started becoming much more drunk. In the end Birmingham won like 5-1 after a close start, and your guys probably looked pretty good.

I really really hope I don't end up jinxing it with this post but Versteeg has morphed into a god damned animal and watching him click with Kane is the most fun I've had watching hockey this year.

With 11:28 left in the 1st between San Jose and Anaheim I heard the color guy say "it was a thing of beauty by John Scott."
Honestly, I'm at a loss. I wish I had it on DVR so I could review what happened, but my mind cannot even imagine.

Bryan Murray continuing to live in the moment as he battles cancer

For Murray, even with cancer it is pretty much business as usual. He tries to be around the team as much as possible unless it conflicts with his Chemo treatments.

Murray prefers to live in the moment even though it is impossible not to consider his own mortality.

“We have a young player, Curtis Lazar, who I believe is going to be a star,” Murray said. “Would I ever like to be around in four years when he becomes the player I know he is going to be. I won’t be, but that’s the type of thing that has driven me and kept me in the game.”

WP64, there's some great historic Habs photos here today in remembrance of Jean Béliveau.
