This is the year that I finally learned to just sit back and enjoy everything that LeBron does. He is going to drag this horrible team to another NBA Finals. It is unbelievable.

I love how people my age can be so easily triggered on Facebook by anyone suggesting that LBJ is the greatest or that Steph is the best offensive player ever.

The idea that MJ isn’t the best really upsets basketball fans that grew up watching him in the 90s.

Rodney Hood is incredibly irrelevant. Simply hasn't been a quality player for more than a full season. He needs to reset his career playing heavy minutes on a bad team and figure out what he's good at again.

Shouldn't Toronto have waited to see what LeBron does this summer?

Why fire your coach for not being able to beat him if, idk, you don't have to anymore?

I understand this logic, but this Cleveland team is not good. They just aren't. I saw them play this year and it was laughable. And it wasn't because it was the regular season and they just didn't care. They just are not very good, do not even have a fucking clue on the defensive end, and are completely reliant on the transcendent talent of one of the game's best ever players.

Toronto should have won that series and instead they got completely embarrassed. Honestly, they should probably just rebuild at this point because the entire Eastern Conference is going to be dominated by the Celtics for the next decade with Philly and maybe Indy and/or the Bucks as possible perennial playoff teams depending on injuries and player development.

Their window is closing really fast. The story of this season for them was how unexpectedly great their bench is but that never actually matters in the playoffs. And there is not a single guy coming off the bench who is really that exciting. Van Vleet is probably going to leave this summer. Siakam is good but what is ceiling if we are being honest? Anunoby is great too.

If I were a Raptors fan though I would be feeling really uncomfortable about the long-term direction of this team. They are destined for the 40 win, first-round exit basketball equivalent of purgatory..

Not exactly a hot take but this is the best finals match up I could have hoped for. GSW can establish their dynasty but Lebron is so incredible I could see him carrying this garbage Cavs team to a championship.

    We did it.

This has been a taxing playoffs. It's extremely difficult even to watch with the expectation that, if you don't obliterate your opponent, you will be mercilessly mocked.

Yes, but I wasn't a massive basketball fan until post-We Believe when people around me started to get interested in the team again. The 2008 season before Curry was drafted is where I locked in. I remember players like Chris Mullin, Spree, J Rich, and Antawn Jamison a little bit from my youth, but didn't follow them much. Reggie Miller was my favorite player as a kid. I loved the sharpshooting and his insane competitiveness. I was probably more into basketball video games like NBA Hangtime or NBA Jam than the actual game. I was a white kid who played little league.

I own a Chris Mullin jersey, I think I picked it up on discount somewhere in the mid 90s.

One of the only non-Bulls players I took to as a fan at the time, in hindsight this was really weird choice and I honestly wonder what subconscious appeals may have drawn me to him at the time.

Loved playing as the Warriors in NBA Jam, certainly more than the "Chicago Bulls" team that the game offered.

My favorite 90s arcade style NBA combo was, of course, Stockton & Malone afro

I’m very much hoping for LBJ to win this championship and can only imagine what it must be like to put in an effort like last night & then watch JR pee down his leg.

I think changing the LBJ charge call was more crazy. That's a total flip of the coin call and I didn't think there was any way they were giving KD that foul in that moment. Warriors had some fucking unbelievably terrible 4th quarter possessions.

It's funny all the people already insisting that Curry run the offense on every possession. He's had his fair share of awful games in these playoffs (and every playoffs). He was awesome last night, but a balanced attack is best. Durant needs to stop jacking up threes though! He's been bad from range all playoffs and it's no longer small sample size theater. If he doesn't blow by someone and dunk at least twice in Game 2 I'm gonna lose my shit.

if Draymond Green ever gets traded I hope it’s to a small market team. He is my least favorite personality in the game right now.

    Draymond is great!!

Can you guys tell me what the coolest Jordan jersey is? Should I get weird and get a #45 jersey? Something from the 80s years? Black with the red pinstripes? Just a classic red?

I want to get one soon because I think it would be really cool to wear that around when I am in Milan next year. Post your favorite Jordan jerseys, please.

A Draymond #23 Warriors away 2015-16 swingman large +2 length is the jersey I own. I love Draymond because he's "our guy", but if I had to do it again I would get a Klay jersey.

    Draymond is our Sergio Ramos.

A few years ago I dreamed I got a job at Target and JR Smith was training me to stock shelves in the linens/towels section of the store.

I'll be really surprised if I haven't shared this here at some point before but I can't find any account of it in any of the threads I was expecting to find it in.
