Sannhet's Revisionist is a wonderful 35 minutes of instrumental metal.

I can't believe people are upset over the band name Viet Cong.

I guess I can see how actual Vietnamese people can maybe not be so excited about their bloody oppression being some disconnected hipsters' vague cultural reference.

I'd be curious to know Muhammad Ali's opinion on the band name.

Regardless of the type of music you prefer, I would advise you not listen to the new Sufjan Stevens in public if you are at all emotionally unstable right now.

Has David Drake written anything yet about Kendrick Lamar's new album?

Oh, and that JX track is hilarious. When I heard it the first time I was positive it was made in 1995.

Each time I've finished listening to To Pimp a Butterfly I am reminded how much I loved 2Pac in high school and college and knowing Kendrick is such a fan makes me like his album even more.

Been enjoying this awesome album lately.

I haven't seen reviews of it popping up anywhere, which is weird and pitiful.

It kinda warms my heart that somebody who I respect and isn't a psycho enjoys Mwng. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day, Bruegs.

My favourite SFA album and still the most successful Welsh language album in the history of the UK charts.

Very fond memories of dancing to Ysbeidiau Heulog at my bro"s wedding in 2000. Still love Yr Atal Genhedlaeth too.

I played that album for the first time in quite a while, last week. Still a fan, for sure. And really, the only thing that kinda bugs me about this reissue is the fact that my "Ysbeidiau Heulog" 7" is no longer worth like a billion dollars or whatever.

Also, sounds like your bro had my kind of wedding. God damn.

1080p is a bit hit and miss for me but I love these two sample-cluttered deep(ish) house transmissions from Saffron

blends nicely with that jazzy downbeat Mood Hut aesthetic i've been high on of late.

Getting around to the new Pyramids album - A Northern Meadow. Some quite stunning moments throughout. The "if Radiohead made black metal" comparisons are not too far off.

Tad Doyle has a new "crushing doom" band:

Here's the sick cover of their new album, which I listened to today and already deleted:

I always thought Tad's album covers and titles were a zillion times better than their music.
