Wait what song was it? Are you sure it was FJM because I won't have one of the most significant albums of our times mocked on this forum.

I've definitely heard a couple songs while in someone else's car and I really wanted to jump out of that bitch and roll into moving traffic. I used to be sort of curious as to what other people found appealing in all of that but now I just think it is always better to listen to Sly Stone or D'Angelo and not concern myself with any of it.

I'm a much healthier and funkier dude because of this. aw hellz yeah

I dunno, it was a super slow acoustic thing and then there was fake applause injected into it so it got super stupid.

So wait, is that Brothers of the Sonic Cloth album not good? I was excited to hear it

And I may some day, just as soon as I stop listening to this:

I guess the Brothers of the Sonic Cloth album just has this riff-less sound that falls flat for me, personally.  It certainly SOUNDS "doomy" and all that but I think that kind of punishing, no fun music only works with cool song structures or guitar parts or something, like the band Corrupted used to do.

Tad Doyle played on a similar album that I checked out last year and I felt the same way about that.

Also, I agree with Ted Falconi about the band Tad's discography. Outstanding in theory...not so much in execution.

The FJM song Duff is talking about is called "Bored in the USA" and is the anthem of our times.

I like how you guys are forgetting Vinyl Me Please used I Love You, Honeybear as their club's album of the month in February. You think VMP would have done that for anything short of a major artistic statement?

I'm just going to pretend he's covering the Clash and I'll probably never hear the actual song you guys are talking about.

I'll have to check that out.  That guy's music is usually pretty cool.

More importantly, every so often I find myself remembering that he released a Boof track called "Dinner with Salad."

"pretty cool" is an apt description of this latest Boof offering..definitely Fulton at his most playful. all over the place stylistically.

Decent enough album. Plenty enjoyable. A "burn it," I suppose.

I'm listening to this new Wire album and the lyrics are about google maps and tweeting and amazon wish lists.  Someone tell me if this is good or not.
