From the viewpoint of a lapsed fan, mind U, but both of these tracks R very good.

Didn't they have a CD-digital bundle available 4 the king of limbs?

Look I want the CD I'm sorry I also don't want to pay 4 this twice.

A disc is coming out in June. Not sure if they'll do the whole box set thing they did last time.

This Radiohead album is a very good album.

The version of "True Love Waits" is one of the best songs they've ever done and it is 2016. This band has managed to make me love them even more.

Listened to this 4-6 times today. Great Mother's Day present.

Hey Michael K! After the first two listens this album sounds really good. I read on the fork that Thom Yorke and his girlfriend of 23 years split up this year. Knowing that colors the album in a very different way.

this album kinda sucks

aside from Burn the Witch it's just this pleasant-sounding aimless morass that goes nowhere and does nothing. 4 all the shit people give TKOL it's so much more dynamic and adventurous than like 80% of this album

I think this is probably the least adventurous Radiohead album in a really, really long time. Over half of the tracks were previously recorded material so that isn't surprising. Still really, really good though. it is going to take a while to absorb it all. It's a heartbreaking album and it is resonating well with my general mood.

I don't know if I ever understood what the consensus was on TKOL. That album kicks ass too. "Give Up The Ghost" followed by "Separator" is a helluva way to close out an album!

I think a lot of people still don't know what to make of The King of Limbs and/or think of it as a lowpoint in their discography. I certainly felt the opposite of the latter. Haven't heard the new one.

Yeah, I'm digging it. I thought that The King of Limbs was one of their strongest albums. Certainly the Radiohead album I'm most likely to spin, these days. Blew me away, that one.

yeah actually, U know what, this album is good

my roommates and i were talking about this the other day, but what's the retrospective on In Rainbows at this point? OK Computer and Kid A loomed so large over everything they ever did at the time that i think people reserved judgement about where In Rainbows ranks in their catalog. can we say now just how fucking good it is? i think it may be their finest record.

King of Limbs is also really good, i should listen to it again soon. i'll probably get into the new album this weekend. "Daydreaming" seems like it might be a real doozy in a live setting.

it's definitely a pretty fuckin great collection of catchy songs, and being kind of disappointed by how one-note a lot of the new one is made me go back and appreciate how dynamic and well-crafted IR is

doesn't have the otherworldly/haunted vibe or emotional charge of Kid A/Amnesiac that makes them so affecting but sometimes U just wanna listen to some good songs

i get why people think TKOL is kind of underwritten, and it does feel like a collection of sketches, but the second half is stellar and the mood they create throughout is about as strange and arresting as anything they've done

Radiohead is one of the few bands where i feel comfortable saying that unironically. they really R a singular force in music, even when it's not working 100%.

Most likely to listen to In Rainbows as anything these days. I certainly enjoyed King of Limbs when it came out.

To a large degree I stopped listening critically to this band (probably true about music in general but especially so 4 Radiohead) and just accepted each new release as the latest transmission from benevolent demigods that I have to fit my life around.
