Re: GREAT LAKE!!!!!!!
Can't believe anybody would ever order Papa Johns when there was a real pizza place in the vicinity. And this from a frequent PJ's customer.

Re: GREAT LAKE!!!!!!!
Any newspaper headline that is "pizza or hot dog joint closing" themed seriously brings me to the verge of tears. True end of days shit.

Re: GREAT LAKE!!!!!!!
I realized this phenomena recently and stopped eating at most chain establishments. Where you eat is a great thing to care about, as is where the food comes from. I have the money to drop an extra $.50 at my local Mexican establishment rather than being lazy and contributing to the burrito takeover that is Chipotle, their food sucks dick anyway.
Plus it feels good when the owner of the restaurant recognizes me, knows me by name, and gives me and my friends free chips and salsa because I contribute directly to the livelihood of him and his family. If you're ever in Naperville, stop by El Hogar on Ogden. The dude who works the register there and owns the place is a great dude. Plus, who doesn't love watching Telemundo while downing some next level Mexican cuisine?

Re: GREAT LAKE!!!!!!!
Part me is is disappointed I never queued up to get some legendary pie from the 'za nazi at Great Lakes, but mostly I'm just like whatever, I can get an awesome thin crust Italian beef 'za with giardiniera in 30 minutes from Giuseppe's down the street.
