SXSW is stupid

Why do people talk about this trade show like it matters?

The music there is nothing but a pretense for people to try out new smartphone apps, which is what's it's all about anymore and I wish they'd just admit it already.

I think it used to matter and now it's coasting on that cred for as long as we'll allow. But I guess I stopped paying attention, maybe a part of it still does matter, I dunno.

I'm in no position to agree or disagree here, but if anybody confronts me I got your back.
Fuck sxsw.

The metal writer Brandon Stusouy from P4k referred to it as the music industry's showcase to show how incompetent it is.
