Fucking c'mon Daniel Biss!

Not a very positive article in the Trib this morning for the Biss Campaign. He’s probably done.

yeah, since his numbers looked good about a month or so ago, pritzker has started spending money disparaging him, and his campaign has lost the ability to generate big news (speaking before a pussy riot show? hosting an event with jesse eisenberg? huh?). JB did the same thing to kennedy right afterwards. He needed both of them to stay in the race, but neither to start amassing momentum. JB will probably end up winning hte primary unless there's some massive bombshell coming in the next week, and even then he'd need all the undecideds to break 100% for Biss or Kennedy to knock him off the top spot. anyway, we'll all line up behind JB in november to keep rauner from getting reelected.

Did JB poison Bias and Kennedy? Something is very wrong with them in this debate.

I mean I'm glad I don't have to answer any questions like is on television, I really don't know if I can make it through another job interview in one piece.

the debate at least solidified that i'm voting for biss. i questioned myself the last couple weeks wondering if he had a shot at winning. wish we had instant runoff voting, in which case JB, being at best a 3rd choice for everyone not voting for him would probably lose to one of these guys.

Was thinking that last night. Pretty much everyone I know (who isn't full on Biss) is vacilating between Biss and Kennedy.

I want to vote for Biss, but I'm thinking about changing over to Kennedy, because he seems to have a better shot at beating Pritzker.

Looking forward to voting for Newman over Lipinski.

lipinski losing to newman and berrios losing to kaegi would be my 2 favorite things today.

if ives somehow beat rauner in the primary that'd be pretty amazing, but i don't think we'll get that kind of blessing. i know we're not supposed to root for the nutters in the primary because they might win the general (see: well, you know), but i don't think it's possible for a nutter to win the governorship as an R in this state against the expected blue wave that's coming in november.

While I tend to agree I still don't need that maniac receiving any sort of validation for her bullshit.

I used to live in Lipinski’s district, would have loved to vote against him.

I don't know why but I have found this whole day really depressing. People are celebrating a turnout in the high 20s and Lipinski has reclaimed his lead.

I'm happy that Lauren Underwood is the candidate in the 14th. I went and saw her speak before she even announced. She's extremely intelligent, qualified, and young. It would be great if she knocked off Hultgren.

I think the problem is that the United States is a horrible country and it always has been.

The good news is these ghouls and their supporters are dying out. Soon white people won't be the majority anymore and we'll have a chance at being an actual decent country. The bad news is these idiots are going out with a scorched earth policy.
