when i was in high school i noticed that the computer in the admin office that they recorded everyone's grades in had the password on a post-it note on the monitor

Replaced the desk with this, which actually feels really cold and sterile now that I'm sitting at it but has solved a lot of problems.
Also has helped to free up a whole corner of the room next to the desk, which I'm trying to plan for some kind of deep listening chair setup, but will be a tight squeeze if it ever happens.
