Who came up with the idiotic idea of "expanding" the NCAA basketball tourney by having a play-in for the 16 seed? I understand people get excited over this thing but the idea anyone other than a traditional powerhouse will ever win is dilusional.

Will NC A&T or Liberty celebrate if they win? I don't think I can update my bracket until I know which one of them will be going to the dance!

Glad I was too busy to watch last night. Box score alone is depressing enough.

Kendell Gill and some other guy on CSN got in a fight!

    http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/03/20/punch-thrown-kendall-gill-tim-doyle-fight-after-csn-taping/

Doyle disagreed with both of them Tuesday on “Sports Talk Live”.

“The call on Noah was 100 percent correct,” Doyle said on the show. “I do not know what Stacey King was thinking, Kendall Gill after the game, both of you are my friends, but I unfollowed you on Twitter because they were 100 percent wrong. They were wrong, the call was right.”

Is this guy just trying to be contrarian or what?

The final call was 100% correct, but the play was unreviewable and therefore the incorrect call (the no-call) absolutely must stand...as such. 100% of the time. If a play can be reviewed in spite of there being no called infraction, then any play in any game can be reviewed for any reason whatsoever. And as they weren't technically reviewing the play to determine whether or not a call had been correctly made, the precedent set is that replay can be used to determine after the fact whether or not any uncalled infractions have taken place. Anywhere on the floor, at any time, etc..

I've been enjoying this extended run with Nate Robinson as the Chicago Bulls STARTING POINT GUARD.

David West can't walk right now and Paul George can't dribble because he has finger sprains. Granger is not coming back. Pacers are toast too.

We can all have a big pizza party after all three of our teams get eliminated in the first round.

I mean seriously, worst fucking play I've seen all night. Why risk a wild outlet pass when you're up 9 with 2 minutes left? Burn some fucking clock, dumbass. Jesus.

The idiocy continues. Why foul Lebron for the easy and-one? Give them all the fucking two point baskets they want when you're up 9 with 30 seconds left.

If this team can remain healthy and energized next season (big if, I know) they should be favorites for an NBA title.

And I am not ruling out the possibility of them sneaking into the Eastern Conference Finals this year and somehow making something truly amazing happen.

I thought it would have been more exciting to see the Heat set the record. Kind of weird how the Chicago media is celebrating this but when you have a mediocre team that will be out after 1 round in the playoffs & a point guard acting like a pussy this is what excites you, I suppose.

Miami will probably sweep every series though & win the title with ease.

That fact that one regular season game seems like such a big deal tells you all you need to know about both teams. If it's front page news when you beat someone, they're godlike and you suck.

That said, as a Bulls homer I enjoyed the fuck outta that game.
