Re: Hoop It Up
That was a hell of a game, not to mention series. Pretty happy for Jasper. I hope they at least annoy the Spurs.

Couldn't be more excited that the horrible Clippers went out in the first round just like I was telling people they would

Word to your mother, man. Griffin gutted it out, I know, but he's such a pussy. Love the dunks, hate the dude.

thanks, mate
"annoy" is probably a good word. i didn't expect us to even test Denver like we did so anything is possible here, especially if Parker/Ginobli/Duncan pick up another injury trying to chase our guys around the court.
i think the thing that has been the hardest for me to accept with this Golden State team this year is that jacking 3-pointers is statistically an unbelievably valid strategy and that we can survive the fourth quarter without an elite-level dribble-driver (Jarrett Jack is still pretty good at this anyway and Steph has become more competent with those in the lane teardrop shots).

Re: Hoop It Up
I really can't believe that happened. I went back to Naperville for the day and this girl dragged me to some coffee house in Willowbrook. The game was on and with 2 minutes left some detestable looking fuck switched the channel so he could watch The Big Bang Theory.
You best believe I fucking brought that bitch back to the essence after that. Go Bulls.
Prediction: Bulls over the Heat in 4.

Re: Hoop It Up
I was literally like when the Miami fans started leaving in droves with 45 seconds left.

Same. I'm very proud never to have left a pro sporting event early. So classless.

Re: Hoop It Up
Heat still have the obvious advantage in this series but I'm just glad Nate and company made Queen James think twice about them.

Coach of the Year = George Karl. Thibodeau somehow finished in 8th. Nauseating.

Re: Hoop It Up
Yeah, that was pathetic. My dad didn't watch the game, but he's an OG hoops fan, and when I told him about that he was flabbergasted. No one ever walked out of an '80s Celtics/Lakers game with a 4 point differential and 45 seconds left. Miami is the worst city.undo wrote:I was literally like when the Miami fans started leaving in droves with 45 seconds left.

Karl got 62 first place votes and Spoelstra got 24

Vincent Del Negro got both first- and second-place votes, according to what I read.

Re: Hoop It Up
I don't actually care, but it is pretty stunning. I also read that the now-jobless PJC got a first-place vote. Insanity!
