Ain't nothin' wrong with that 1975 song. But of course I would say that. Youtube comments are all, "wtf I can't understand the lyrics!" Just read poetry, motherfuckers.

"The City" is great too, i think i've posted about it before

That's my exact opinion but I am starting to dig around his other material. I used to always play Heavy Deeds if woke up with a hangover in my dorm. It was actually pretty solid medicine.

The rest of the catalogue is good-to-very-good. Heavy Deeds is the only A+ jammer I know though.

Just turned on Heavy Deeds and started writing this paper on Deleuze, Godard, Pasolini, and Louis C.K. I'm pretty excited about this thought exploration but wish I had a lot more time to collect my thoughts and put it down on paper.

Oh well. Also have an entire pot of coffee brewing. Gonna be doing this alllll niiiiitteeee lllllllooooonng, ya

I wish Louis C.K. was around when I was in my paper writing daze. Dude is full of excellent thesis fodder.

The paper is determining whether or not comedy has a place in Deleuze's determination of 'good' cinema or 'thought-producing' cinema. So I'm going to talk about Louie and the comedy of the banal. So far that is all I really know...

Also just finished a 10 page paper on Kant, Hegel, and Nietzsche. So kind of just exhausted and want to stop being productive.  harshrealmbro

I'm listening to Kevin Drumm's Sheer Hellish Miasma for the first time. I can't recall when I was this captivated and stunned by the intensity of a piece of music upon first listen.

I almost killed a window cleaner blasting that a few years ago.

I don't do it very often but putting the needle down on Hitting the Pavement is a sacred ritual of sonic catharsis.

    Jai Paul - All Night

There were about 3 or 4 songs off of this album that I really loved, returning to them about a year later I'm still really digging them. A short little pastiche of slight cheese but it congeals really nicely.

I'm sober as a motherfucker and listening to German Oak (or maybe it's called Down in the Bunker, I dunno) for the first time in at least four years.  I recently found out that Now-Again is giving this what I think will be its first legitimate reissue, and I'm happily going to fork over $50 just to be able to read the liner notes to figure out what the fuck this record('s title) actually is/was.
