I had a dream, last night, in which I was driving west on Lake Cook Road (and underneath a spectacular sunset) just outside of Deerfield when, all of a sudden, a Greg Cartwright/Reigning Sound cover of this song came on the radio.  I was really excited, as no such version actually exists.

i presume this is all the result of Chrono's general posting here, the bourbon i had before going to bed, and s1 ep6 of The Good Place where Chidi is the 3rd wheel on a date between Jianyu and Tahani at the spa (which I also watched last night)
Anyway, i was the 3rd wheel on one of Chrono's dates last night. There was driving to the mountains and hiking involved.

Nobody here was in my dreams last night but I had won where I won Radiohead tickets and $500 in some radio call-in contest and it was the most vivid and real-feeling dream I’ve had in many moons.

    That's awesome.

I've been pretty stressed at work and smoking pot to fall asleep so haven't been dreaming much lately. Or at least, haven't had any that have been super vivid.

I dream a lot when I take melatonin.

I wouldn't swear by the stuff to absolutely everyone but it helps me when I need to get a good night's sleep.

Finally got around to doing this. Deej and Sausage are still admins (well, so are Damo and Some Girl, if they can be located).

Can't find an account for Soma so it may have been deleted. Bruegel appears to be not banned.

I requested Wichita Lineman but instead he did a rendition of Shimmy Shimmy Ya which the police (who had been disguised as diners) deemed 'too provocative' and promptly closed the venue.

Found an old notebook belonging to TechnoRaj. He had scribbled in it with red crayon, "I was really into 808 & Heartbreaks until..." but I decided I didn't wanna read the punchline.

About seven of us were sharing a college dorm. I forget who, and not much got to happen because shortly thereafter an army of morbidly obese nazi clowns and their fleet of blimps and pick up trucks began their assault on America.

After Undo released his Richard D. James-approved ambient album, he was invited to play at Pitchfork. He couldn't make it, and no one knew what he looked like, so he asked me to go on his behalf, but I waited until shortly before the festival to listen to the album and figure out how to play the music.
