    That's brilliant.

A few years ago I had a dream in which all our PCs at work had been replaced with Mega Drives hooked-up to ancient monitors. The only way you could get into the programmes to do the work was by entering the Debug Mode cheat sequence on the Sonic title screen (↑C, ↓C, ← C, →, A+Start).

    It was really stressful.

I don't remember what was going on in my dream last night but it seemed to revolve around this album:

The dream may have taken place at the actual recording sessions. Not sure, though.

No SOMBies involved, but last night Drake kept sending me personal messages asking me to listen to his new record. As in hand-delivered post-it notes with multiple-colored markers and glitter.

I was on the phone with my mom. She said she was going to "Nick's dad's house" to wash her car. Seemed completely legit.

i was in California and Chrono invited me to the free Phil Collins concert at Phil Collins' house, which was a block from my house. i wasn't really interested, but i knew everyone was trying to get into this exclusive show. we get there and there are just five dudes in their 20s pacing around the living room while Phil sets up his elaborate synth rig, ignoring everyone. suddenly Animal Collective show up and set up their gear as the unannounced backing band, and it becomes clear that this is not just an intimate night with Phil but the event of a lifetime

Phil's wife (Claire from House of Cards) comes out and announces that since this is a free show, everyone has to do one chore for the Collins household as admission. I'm last in line and she says "i guess you can clean the toilets". i go to the downstairs bathroom but there's no toilet cleaner. i look around the house for another bathroom and stumble upon Phil's famous secret nightclub. i shove past a crowd of beautiful women and get to the bathroom, which is bare concrete with a single red light bulb and a giant pit dug into the floor. "this bathroom rules" i think. "Phil is so cool". there's obviously no cleaning supplies in here, and suddenly the music starts and it's clear that i blew it. i dive out a window and swim across an Olympic-sized pool, with the sound of Phil's wife shouting at the guard dogs in the distance

I was hanging out w/ Bruegel (no memories of anything that happened before this point, but it's clear I must have been) and 4 some reason we were reading the board rather than socialising. One of Mitchell's real life friends has joined the board and is involved in a heavy argument with him, leading to a rare moment of emotional fragility where Mitchell sends Bruegel a pm whining about it and Bruegel reads it out in an incredibly high-pitched voice that I was surprised to discover sounds more like Coventry than Birmingham.

Bruegel also made fun of my taste in beer, specifically Boddingtons, which I don't actually drink irl, but yeah. The only other memory I have is that I made a statement about how I've never driven a car with a passenger in the side, and Bruegel assumed that it was because I don't have any friends rather than because I don't have a driver's license.

    lol

I've got very fond memories of drinking Boddies as a lad. Particularly when they made the stronger (4.6%) version available in the UK 4 a short time and I decided it would be a good idea to drink 12 cans of it. I pissed in my wardrobe that night.

Went to visit Chrondog out in California. We go into a currency exchange and he curls up with some covers under one of the booths and I ask, "U sleep here, U don't have an apartment?"

"Dude, U know how much rent is around here?"

I forget where I went but definitely somewhere else.

Had a dream last night that I was listening to an f plus podcast and they were reading stuff from somb circa 2007.

They were reading out a thread in which Montana and Theremin were arguing about whether a dildo is an appropriate gift for a teenage female relative. Theremin didn't like the idea but Montana argued that "synthetics are better than dirty finger nails"

Dreamt that undo started a new lopp2 thread entitled "punk" (lowercase in the dream, no subhead zero replies).  I assumed it was about this irl notion that some people believe that we are on the precipice of a new golden age of cool and radical rock music because of Trump or whatever.  Which has sofar only manifested itself in Green Day's appropriation of MDC's "Born To Die" in their AMA performance.  I couldn't remember how they changed the words, and thought about it for a minute.  Woke up before I gave up and googled it.

    Spoiler:
    Original lyrics:
    No war
    No KKK
    No Fascist USA

Green Day's version, apparently broadcast live on network tv:
    No Trump
    No KKK
    No Fascist USA

I wish I knew for sure what the thread was actually about.
