Ridin the day bus to Heathrow for a 2 week jaunt to Canada

Seriously hope that either the Hawks or Senators can pull some big comeback shit to make this trip worth a damn. Playoff hockey is fun to watch but it's a lot more fun when I give a shit about the teams playing.

Listening to new music albums on the way and my thoughts are this:

I'm about to listen to the oldish Icona Pop EP for the first time, so cool!

I am a product delivery manager at Heathrow now, am on holiday in Croatia at the moment though.

In airport hotel room watching, drinking, not eating. Game sucks shit so far but this scotch is fucking ace.

Other movie highlights:
The campaign review: sorta like Ricky bobby, but less ground breaking 5 years later. Still highly watchable. "You get my kid to call you dad, I fuck your wife." P solid.

Die hard 5 review: I understand and accept that Bruce Willis is certifiably cool, but fuck this shit. The Expendables understood that it was bullshit. I get the feeling this movie doesn't. Kept wishing I was watching Jack Reacher again.

On The Waterfront from the "classics" feature: better than Die Hard 5

Surprising. The Campaign looked to me like the worst movie of all time until I saw the ads for The Internship.
And Talladega Nights is by far the best Will Farrell sports comedy, Eastbound and Down included.

I was throwing back the molsons pretty hard on the plane, so there's a chance it could've been that. Or maybe new diehard sucked so mightily that Campaign looked good in hindsight. There were definitely a lot of "oh I get it, it's a joke about politics" moments, but it still came off as highly watchable. Plus, it had the Rip Torn bump, which is certainly a thing.

The internship does look horrid. I sorta hope I never wind up on that airplane.

All reasonable rationale suggests that this should be the tastiest late airport hotel dinner ever, but after that dick punch of a hockey game it just tastes like dust and sadness

Now I'm sitting on the floor watching an episode of 2 1/2 men with Aston kitchen because somehow I though that sounded better than a documentary on feminism.
Honestly wish WP64 was here in Edmonton to share scotch and harsh realm sadness. I don't know why sports is still important to me as an adult, but god dammit that game made me feel bad.
