Pau Gasol will, has to, contribute more to this team per game than Carlos Boozer can anymore, and may actually be cheaper, so this is a good deal, right?

What if LeBron and the Cavs planned this all from the start? They probably hoped that their draft picks wouldn't suck so much, year after year, but they've got the young team with a lot of potential they probably always wanted, right? Doesn't look like Luol Deng has much of a future there anymore, though.

I can't believe any quasi-contender would waste cap space on Pau Gasol's rotting corpse in 2014. Big men are never the same once they start having plantar fascia trouble. Hopefully he was just coasting through the doomed D'Antoni seasons, and will play with renewed vigor in Chicago.

I wrote that post assuming that the Bulls were going to resign D. J. Augustin and that it had always been safe to assume that they would.  

Mirotic is about to sign and I should be happy about that but it's so disgusting that we've let so many good guards go over the years and that we still haven't learned our lesson and apparently never will.

Yeah, I'm not going to get over Marco Belinelli anytime soon. Basically, if San Antonio wants a guy, that's a sign you should have kept him. They're smarter than everyone.

on the plus side, PG's injury means i don't need to spend money on the League Pass this year, the pacers are gonna be so terrible to watch.

Yeah, they might not be a playoff team in the east, unless Hibbert releases the beast. Second half of last season + no Lance + no PG = yikes.
