I referenced in another thread my parents got me the Lego Millenium Falcon for Xmas. I started building it this morning and when I got to the top hatches realized I was off by a couple pegs that would require me to dismantle it and readjust like 80% of my work.

Fuck that so I threw it in the garbage. That is my attitude for the rest of 2015. Happy New Year.

Tonight we are getting sushi, have some bottles of prossecco and plan to make 2016 the best year ever.

Went to a relatively quiet bar with my girlfriend to celebrate. Turned out to be a great time. Spent the next day watching the football games with my dad, his brothers, and some of their friends. My ball busting was absolutely on point all day.

2015 was the craziest, but also probably the most exciting, year of my life. Hoping that 2016 is just as fun but quite a bit calmer.

Eating so hard this New Year's holiday.

I basically had the last two weeks off and I'm happy to go back to work and get back into a routine where slamming 1,000 calories at lunch and drinking from 2 in the afternoon to whenever isn't the norm.

So I didn't drink for five months but I felt pressured last night to go out with some friends who I hadn't seen since college. It wasn't that bad of an experience really but I deeply regret how it is making me feel this morning. Waking up at 8:00 a.m. on a tiny couch with a pounding headache and a sore throat to then step out into arctic temperatures was an excruciating start to my new year!

One of the first thoughts when I woke up this morning and was squinting to find my glasses and keys was how it felt like a pig has shat in my brain.

went to bed at 11pm after watching the first half of Mangold's 3:10 to Yuma.

did too much traveling over xmas/ny break. ready to hibernate for a while.

i went to bed in my parent's house around 11pm and apparently my mom tried and failed to wake me up for fireworks. yesterday i drove 10 hours from the SF Bay Area back to Portland.
