Some lady was hanging back in the bank drive through not willing to commit to a lane until she knew which of the four was going to move the fastest. Rather than wait behind her I pulled ahead and into the leftmost lane just as that customer was getting her receipt back from the pneumatic tube.

Because I always complete my deposit slips before I get to the bank I was out of there while the lady from the first paragraph was still waiting in line.

They're omnipresent in all but the most densely packed urban areas. Or at least in the midwest they are.

that's just good driving. i've lived in the city long enough now that when i'm in the suburbs i feel like an asshole most of the time because i don't have the patience anymore for courteous/indecisive drivers. just make a choice and go!

I was paying for daily parking at the train station and some woman asked if I had change for a $5. I clearly did but told her "no".

She gave me a look like she was going to say something. But shit, if the machines only take $1 bills why should I make my life more difficult by helping some unprepared woman out? I don't need to worry about breaking a $5.

By the way, did anyone else see the ESPN story comparing Notre Dame's reaction to the Te'o story to Penn State's Sandusky coverup?

Knocked the bag off a woman's shoulder walking up the escalator at the train station. She was standing to the left and everyone knows you stand on the right so I made an extra effort to get around her.
