I defer to arugula and spinach. What've you fellas got in ur salads

Usually go romaine. Sometimes I'll throw some kale in there if they're growing it downstairs.

Yeah, I'm a big spinach guy. Rocket is pretty good.

my ongoing love affair with the chili pepper has reached new heights recently with several varieties assuming snacking duties

its been a real boon to my hand-washing regimen too (after a few hard lessons )

worst ive done in that regard is to carefuly rinse and store my lenses in hay fever eye drops and then squeeze universal cleaner directly into my eye

Been feeling turnip greens lately. I don't even like buying turnips without the leaves anymore, I feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Not sure if these count as just greens since I also use the stalks, but I'm hounding some swiss chard & rapini this week. Juicing the former, blanching & sautéing the latter.

Big fan of mâche, little gems lettuce and high quality red butter lettuce. Purslane, mizuna and watercress are also nice accents to a salad. Arugula is good stuff, especially the really peppery wild harvested varieties. I'll also quickly saute sliced or minced garlic in olive oil and wilt lacinato kale for a salad base, finished with a splash of balsamic or sherry vinegar or a fig shrub.

Goodness, that sentence is like another language to me. I'm pretty sure I'd be down with eating all that stuff though, just a hunch.

I regret my perfectly earnest suggestion of tasty leafy greens strikes you as pretentious. Just trying to respond to the OP's solicitation for information regarding what us fellas got in our salads.
