Holy crap guys.  As Eddie says "I'll be damned if I get hung up on the line."  

I've been enjoying Eddie Van Halen's music score for the 1984 teen party flick The Wild Life.  One track was released on the soundtrack album, and the VH YouTube channel put a few up last year, but I found the rest on Soulseek.

$17 to stand on the grass in front of of 2/3 of humanity who can claim to be ex-Van Halen would be worth it even if I hadn't already been a Sammy Hagar fan since Three Lock Box.  
Also, I bet Gary Cherone tickets would cost at least triple that.

Almost saw him at Taste of Joliet last year and then didn't.

ZZ Top for 20 bucks at Naperville Ribfest is still one of the more next level things I've experienced in my lifetime. Missed out on Joe Walsh and Steve Miller doing the other days, though. Damn.

ZZ Top at Ribfest with my dad watching him get shit faced and smack my shoulder at the start of each song before a fist pump is an all time father/son bonding moment. They could have played longer but to be fair came out dress head to toe in black leather on a 90 degree evening.

But goddamn what I'd would give to run up in Kelly Pickler's gash after what is sure to be a corker of a set at Ribfest...
