Started this thread because I just read that people threw rocks at Cocteau Twins when they played Lollapalooza. Not sure any footage of this still exists in 2020.

The Juggalos throwing shit is the most predictable thing in the world, but lollapalooza should know better. Did they learn nothing from the Smashing Pumpkins in that Simpsons episode?

I read this article yesterday but now I'm locked out from reading it for free. It doesn't say what people were throwing at Cocteau Twins but surely it was was either rocks or bottles. It's from June 29, 1996.

Homerpalooza aired a whole month before that (May 19, 1996) so should have known exactly what they were walking into.
The Pavement incident was from the 1995 Lolla.
