I could probably find this out without asking, but is your friend a musician too? I know of that particular website-designer and I believe that he once made an album that I enjoyed. I don't remember what it sounds like but it was electronic music and he was playing table tennis on the cover.

They are both friends of mine actually. I'm pretty sure the band you are thinking of is Salvo Beta but that is not who designed the new SO site. That friend is also a musician and is a drummer in the metal band Beak.

Yeah. That was a bummer to them. They asked how they could rank their band for their name in Google. I told them they should consider changing it.

When it comes to creative name changes for google purposes, I think there should be more "dick churches" and less "chvrches." But that's just me i guess.

Voting for "songs" seems so weird, like the last song on MBV is probably my favorite musical thing but it's the opposite of the kind of stuff I usually put on this list every year.

I have some favorites that some people are going to think are really corny and seeing them juxtaposed with "Wonder 2" is just going to make them look even weirder.
