I definitely don't remember this song having all these record scratching sounds in it but I guess everything between 1998 and 2000 did so

    No More Color goes hard

much harsher production than the later stuff so they still sound a lot like a more talented early Celtic Frost. almost a totally different/better band

Some of these songs have been kicking around in my head 4 years and I'd lost track of what they were and how they fit together. U could get like 5 hits out of all the hooks in "Everybody Everybody" and "I Don't Know Anybody Else" but instead all that's packed into the first two fuckin tracks!

The title track is probably the weirdest thing to come out on an album like this that lots of people actually came out and bought. It's a short interlude but sounds like the bridge between UR's "Big Stone Lake" and Goldie's "Timeless" and came out 1 & 5 years before either of those. I guess most people didn't even notice it or care but this is like my favorite sort of thing in the world so it just blows my mind that it's on the same album as "Strike It Up."

There's even a straight up smooth jazz panty-pull instrumental and I really hope it's what the Ghost Box label named itself after.

I don't know if this is the sound of just not giving a shit anymore or what, maybe U can't blame them anymore at this point, I don't know.

I mean, these R some competently-arranged and performed pieces of music but how anyone involved in this thing was able to convince themselves that this even came close to living up to anything they'd done before just doesn't make sense. U don't spend a whole decade releasing really cool and unique music and then just wake up one day when U're 40 and completely forget everything about how to do that, or so I'd have thought!

All the Kompakt Total compilations R on Spotify and they're fucking killer. A shuffle on that playlist is hours of listening pleasure.

I haven't thought of this song in years and I was actually really obsessed with this EP when it came out.

Why is it so fucking hard 4 musicians to not throw their careers away?
