it's getting warm out so let's eat some fucking tacos

i burned out on greasy, traditional style al pastor after eating about two al pastor burritos a week for almost a year in Santa Cruz. i really like a good shrimp burrito these days. i've been exploring chicken more. i used to be a real steak or carnitas type of guy.

got an "all meat" burrito the other week that was boiled chicken, grilled chicken, carne asada and carnitas.

at least one day a week i'll have a steak burrito for lunch, followed by 2 pork & 1 chicken taco for dinner. so my tacos are catching up to my burritos, or they may have made the pass already and are pulling ahead in the battle of my belly.

Really need to find a burrito joint near work.

Have you heard of this Chipotle place?

There is a really great Mexican joint on Lincoln that I frequent. Everytime I go to Chipotle now I feel like I am cheating on that place to go stick it to a 20-year old with fake tits or something.

Ignore the fact that I am 19 and just accept the analogy for what it is, damn it.

it's not really cheating if you don't know the actual name of the really great place. what is it?

it was much better than i expected. just a cornucopia of deliciously seasoned meats.

No.  No they do not.

Ever since I moved a block from a Jimenez with an attached cafeteria I'm about 30-1 tacos to burritos. I should point out that most of the time I'm ordering platillos of one of the stewed meats where the tortillas are on the side.

Pretty sure about eight or nine, maybe a few others in forgotten late-night ventures long ago. Wouldn't be above hitting the rest if I have a slow weekend this summer.
