Not NFL, but these are some high quality names I really wanted everybody to be aware of:

Game ended like an hour ago and I still have sweaty armpits and feel this insane sense of joy at having witnessed that.

I genuinely dislike Tony Romo and am glad this fucking happened to him again. The Packers could very well miss the playoffs in what has been a disappointing season but they'll always have this win.

I got nothing against the Packers, Nick, and I'm a huge Bears fan. Sometimes, injuries just can't be overcome/you don't have Josh McCown (the league's best 2013 quarterback, bar none). That was some ballin'-ass shit, this afternoon.  Fuck Dallas for life, son.  For life! Y'all did good.

I'm going to miss Schwartz when he gets canned at the end of the season. Could always depend on his Lions to fuck up.

I basically have to re-evaluate my expectations of these Chicago Bears every week. Feeling really fucking good right now though. I really need them to win against the Eagles tonight so that I don't have a cardiac episode next Sunday.

Regardless of what happens next Sunday, a night like this and I can't help but think of Madrox sitting in his bedroom clutching his pillow, listening to Jodeci & cursing Jay Cutler for not being ride or die.

I was super bitter about that game for obvious reasons and just want to point out that Green Bay got really lucky a bunch of times. That late hit to set-up the first field goal was trash, that fucking fumble recovery for a touchdown was a miracle, and on that last drive Rodgers didn't get the snap off in time on that 4th and inches.

Conte is a piece of shit though and he is the real reason we lost. I can't make myself that made because I know that this Bears team really doesn't deserve to play in the playoffs anyway.

I watched Apocalypse Now last night for the first time in like two years and immediately stopped caring about the NFL again.

WP I know you don't care anymore but it is amazing the Bears could not win that game. The officiating did not have such an influence that it changed the outcome. You basically have the only DB in the league with Conte that is somehow worse than anyone on GB.

Don't really have a strong rooting interest in any playoff team this year, outside of hoping the AFC championship will be another Brady/Manning duel. Couldn't care less about the Bengals & Chargers. It's too bad they can't both lose this weekend, and Indy/KC both advance.

Basically any NFC contender would make for a good story and exciting super bowl, imo. Eagles victory would be worth a lot of money to current top-tier college coaches, as some of the recently coachless teams would scramble to hire the next Chip Kelly.

The Chargers are truly terrible. I watched them get roughed up by the Raiders in Week 5 and from that point on the team was irredeemable. They almost got beat by a Chase Daniel led offense and the backups of the Chiefs. The Chiefs first team offense isn't even dominant (sans Jamaal Charles). The Chargers have also lost to the Texans, Titans, and Redskins. I still root for Keenan Allen, as he is a former Cal player who got a bad rap for smoking two much weed and dropped in the draft.

I will "support" the Niners even though I don't "root" for them.

I don't really like to be in the business of picking NFL playoff games, as they can be exceptionally crazy and hard to judge, but I really don't have much insight into who might win other than that Seattle is a tiny favorite (but probably less of a favorite than most people would think). even the Bengals could win it all.

Would American football be better or worse to watch if it were announced on television in the style of futbol/socar?

100 times better. American broadcasters are trained to never let there be a silent moment. Whereas futbol/soccer announcers tend to let the game breath and accept there are moments when they should be quiet. Makes their calls more dramatic too.
