Found out that the NFL kicked off today. Caught a bit of Pats-Steelers by accident but I really don't care. I'm pretty happy about this, I feel like I've broken the fever, and I couldn't give less of a shit about NFL football anymore.

I guess it's easy for me to say with the Bears being awful for the near and far future, but still. Fuck NFL football, it's like rooting for a James Bond villain, and I hope I can stick to my guns on this one.

I can't see the Packers or the Patriots losing a game this regular season.

Packers offense is not right. Seems like a timing problem with Rodgers and his receivers. Their defense is incredible this season though. Only five games in but yea a Pats vs Packers Super Bowl appears the safe bet.

LOL @ Ha Ha Clinton-Dix challenging Peppers and Raji. People are gonna talk about this all week now but at least this team gives enough of a shit when they lose to get pissed at one another. That is a foreign concept in Chicago.

Yea not a good decision to jaw at a Hall of Famer when you've been a pretty mediocre 2nd year player.

I emailed my dad this morning that I don't think the Packers will win another game all year. We just spent 30 minutes trying to convince one another I am over reacting but when we hung up I felt like we both truly believe the season is over.

Having a couple days to process the worst game I've seen this offense play in the past 7 or 8 years I legit think they get rolled by Minnesota this weekend.

On the road against a team that can legit claim a chance at the NFC #2 seed this could get ugly and I expect the ugliness to mean Vikes 31 - Pack 9.

I think based on current play the Bears have a more realistic shot at the Wild Card than the Packers.

As a Bears fan I should be thrilled, right? The Bears are playing exceptionally well. Cutler is probably the best he has ever been in a Bears uniform. The running game has looked excellent even without Forte. And the injuries are finally catching up with the Packers.

But I could totally care less. I still haven't been able to root for the Bears since that horrific week 17 loss against the Packers a couple years ago.

In general I try not to give any shits about NCAA football, but just wanted to point out that Navy QB Keenan Reynolds is a legit Heisman candidate. I think that's awesome.

Technically not really the right thread but w/e.

That game terrifies me because I do not know if that will turn the season around or if it was an illusion and they'll continue to fade out of the playoff positions.

I feel bad for Rodgers. I haven't seen a quarterback get abused this badly in a long time. The game that sticks out is when the Bears traveled to New York for a Sunday Night game about four or five years ago. I still have no idea how Cutler even survived that night...

This sets up a Packers v Vikings match-up for the division next week though, assuming the Vikes take care of the Giants tonight? Am I right?

The Packers are probably the least enjoyable team to watch in the NFL this season but yeah it's been a rough couple weeks for anyone sitting down to watch a game and just be entertained.
