This is some mind blowing shit. Prince was a giant amongst men and I can only imagine the early years seeing this guy. What a genius, truly inspiring, and I really love this video. I happened to teach this on bass (and it's a pretty amazing use of standard tuning and tonality).

I've loved everything since they came back, but this is just ridiculous:
Jimmy just goes to another level in episode two. I've never seem him take the fore in such a way I can recall. And, just light years from Solara, which I thought was pretty cool. Channeling the Cure in part 1, but once you hear it 10xs you realize it's totally different. Also: you have to watch the videos a couple times to really take in the full story.

I wouldn't say this is the "best" animated music video I've ever seen but it looks so much prettier than anything else that people made in the early 2000s and holds up so much better (not counting Demon Days-era Gorillaz or other major label money acts).
