Crazy to think that Miami is just a 2.2 second miracle away from being down 2-0 at home. I cautiously like Indiana's chances. Even if Miami wins, I'll be really disappointed if this doesn't go seven.

Oh, well I guess that Artest didn't leave his feet to launch himself into the blow. Maybe you're right. Even so, I think that was also a pretty serious attack.

I don't think Wade meant to hurt him, but it should have at least been a foul. If you accidentally plow through a guy, you still plowed through him. Wade has no motivation to stop using "hurl my body" as both a defensive & offensive strategy, because he continually gets away with shit like that, and seldom gets called for charges. It's also why he's too banged up to be a superstar anymore.

Anyway, zero surprise at the no-call. Looked pretty clear to me last night that the official(s) wanted Miami to win the game. Yes, I like my NBA with a side of conspiracy theory. Tim Donaghy to thread.

Yeah, last night was poorly officiated. Very entertaining, though.

Sounds like NBA is at least reviewing that play. Stephenson, who often continues selling a play after he gets legit knocked over, did looked pretty dazed for 20-30 sec after wade cheap-shorted him.
There's a YouTube comp of wade's dirty plays if you search for it, including last years from behind tackle of Collison during a playoff fast break that sent him into the basket padded (I think that's right...been drinking in Indy all day).
