Interesting document. In 1982, they had been a band for 13 years, and everything was there except for a few refinements that would make them what everyone now knows as "ZZ Top" the next year.
They've got the boogie woogie strutting stage moves happening, but they're only occasionally synchronized. And note the blue jeans, which seem uncharacteristically casual to me.
