Should Kanye’s music be removed from streaming platforms? I thought Adidas was going to try and ride this out but applaud them for dropping him. I’ve read a few people saying that’s actually what Kanye wanted to have happen though.

Anyway, I’d think Spotify dropping him would be a big statement about hate speech not being tolerated.

I feel bad for all the independent record stores that have 3 or more copies of a $60 Donda that they will likely never sell. I know he will always have fans, but will they be the type that shop at an independent record store and are willing to shell out $60 for a vinyl???

I was gonna add YoYo to that thread at some point! Loved that song as a kid. Also, I don’t think I realized as a kid but that was probably my first exposure to Ice Cube. He doesn’t feature heavily but hearing his instantly recognizable voice yell, ‘you can’t play with my yo-yo’ stuck with me and opened the doors for me to appreciate his rapping when I got a bit older.

Definitely thought at the time "This chick's gotta be cool. Ice Cube's in this song". Think I've heard it once since the 90's.
