I watched some Bulls preseason games and they look really bad. Hopefully they trade Lopez for some late draft picks or something because he really doesn't deserve this shit. Lauri is really the only reason to watch that team until at least January when LaVine is scheduled to return from the ACL injury.

I was talking to my cousin today about going up to Milwaukee to watch Bucks games. It's only a 90 minute drive from my house, which is about how long it takes me to get to the city in traffic anyway. You can get upper level seats for like $10-15 on the weekends, even against great teams like OKC. Watching Giannis make his final step into elite NBA talent is reason enough to attend games.

Honestly, having grown up after the Jordan years I never really developed any strong emotional attachment to the Bulls franchise outside of a relatively brief window (Thibs, Rose, Jo, Taj, Loul, etc.) and could pretty easily switch allegiance completely. I've never done that before, but I don't want the incompetence of the Bulls FO to ruin my enjoyment for the league as a whole.

I'm torn. Talk me through this. Tell me it will be okay. I'd look good in a retro Lew Alcindor Bucks jersey.

Bucks definitely have better retro gear!

I'm feeling the same way though. Haven't connected with the Bulls since the Jordan era and mostly just follow the season from the periphery. Being a small market NBA team is an uphill battle but the Bulls could be horrible for the next 10 years.

I flew to Minneapolis on American, last year, for like $50. And if you buy your ticket at the airport, you can get spirit flights for like $15-20. I've done it.

Minneapolis is a cool city and I'd go see the Timberwolves play. Honestly though, they aren't that intriguing of a team to me. They'll be good and hover right around 50 wins in the regular season and be a tough out in the first round for someone like Houston or OKC this season. I'm not sold on Wiggins and if his game, especially defensively, doesn't make some serious strides this season under Thibs and alongside Jimmy Butler, there is no way he will deserve the max contract he is inevitably going to get.

The Bucks are one of the most intriguing teams in the league because of Giannis, who is easily the most interesting and fun player in the league other than maybe Embiid or Jokic.

I'm all in on the Bucks. I already have my ticket to go see the Warriors play Milwaukee in January. I really want to go see the Blazers game this Saturday, but unfortunately I already have other plans.

I've spent so little time there. Usually just in and out for some indie rock show, or whatever.

That Hayward injury was really fucked up. After Reggie said, "he just broke his leg," they briefly switched over to Hayward laying down on the court and I caught a glimpse of his ankle and felt kind of sick. The Celtics actually looked really good and interesting even without him on the court.

The Bulls over-under is somewhere around 20.

bulls honestly might lose 70 games. we'll see how terrible they really are next thursday when they play the "possibly-next-worst-team" Hawks.

    really sucks about Hayward.
