Are the Cavs just giving up on the season at this point and admitting LeBron is gone no matter what they do?

Re: this is a basketball thread
I went to the Warriors- OKC game on Tuesday night and it was easily some of the worst basketball I've ever seen. Like, Warriors squads from the mid-nineties could have played a lot better than the Dubs. Admittedly, OKC was on fire, but it was just horrendous basketball. They are really in a funk. I assume it's pre All-Star break malaise, but that was some serious bullshit.

Does anyone watch basketball online?
For example, am I good just using links like the ones found in r/nbastreams (example) or will these sites infect my computer?

Re: this is a basketball thread
I can’t speak for everyone else but I personally feel Kobe is a total piece of shit.
The fact he admitted guilt and issued a written half hearted at best apology is resurfacing because it was awkward seeing him get an award during a Times Up themed Hollywood event. I think his “shut up and dribble” comment during his acceptance played in his favor because the only thing Hollywood hates more than sexual harassment are Trump Republicans.
And also, he’s a world famous athlete so...second chances?

Re: this is a basketball thread
I think Kobe is different (not "better" or "in the clear") in peoples' minds because he went to court. That the accuser dropped the case due to external pressure and that the legal system is woefully unequipped to fairly prosecute sexual assault cases doesn't seem to matter much. On some level, people seem to respect that he went through the process and looked remorseful. From a PR perspective he handled it very well. Behind the scenes, his team probably did some super slimy things to make sure the case was dropped.
The whole notion of "second chances" is an interesting one in the realm of sexual assault. Too complicated for me to even think about right now.

I'm not sure. Somehow, though, I am sure that noted scumbag and wretched person Patrick Kane is not. Fucked up.
