Listened to Galaxie 500's On Fire four times today.

Now that I have more rooms than my PC speakers can fill, I've been dragging my old boombox around the house & garage, enjoying some dated CD jams. This is what middle age feels like.

I listened to the new Beyonce album twice the other night and it was hilarious. I was in tears when she started talking about 'turning her cherry out' or whatever the fuck. All the feminist bullshit seems so fucking contrived. Everything about it just seems like what I should expect from a fucking celebrity-pop star.

I'm listening to Bob Dylan's "It's Alright Ma" and loving it right now. It doesn't even seem possible that some of these records could have been crafted by a man.
