First song you heard today

I hit random play as I was getting ready for a run this morning.

This motherfucking JAM was the first song.



I played it on repeat for like a mile.

Dealing with a bout of insomnia post-midnight so I’ll count this as the “first song” for today:

‘39 by Queen.

I know I ain’t saying anything you already don’t know, but FUCK.

This song is magic.
Even if not for the space exploration theme, I feel like this is something that could be blasted off in our space capsule for which to talk with them there extraterrestrials.

I sometimes wish I could get one of those lobotomies but only for emotional intelligence. It would be so much easier to “succeed” in this nightmare society if not for human emotion and the weight of everything.

Edit: listened to this like 15-20 times in a row. Finally unable to keep eyes open and taking off the headphones. A quality experience. Highly recommend. Best song ever.

This will hit a certain demo hard.

I found it on the Numero Group Power Pop playlist. Other than that, I have no other info. Based off of the photo in the video it’s on one of Numeros power pop compilations but I’m not sure which one. It is a great song and on bad mornings, I seek it out.
