Homework is a classic, Discovery is a classic, Human After All is a flawed but decent album, Alive is an awesome live album that brings the Human After All material up a notch, and the Tron soundtrack is what it set out to be, a film soundtrack. So three good albums and 1 dud, the film shit doesn't count. 75% and Human After All does have some redeeming qualities so I'd go with 80%.

I got through portions of Discovery and Homework yesterday. Recognized the hits and enjoyed them but spent the rest of my listening experience bored or not paying attention at all.
This is possibly a band I will never be able to get into. Sort of like I can't get into Father John Misty.

Watching these Collaborators videos on yt. Todd Edwards' ignorance of the live recording process is blowing my mind.

This review makes Random Access Memories sound like the greatest album ever recorded.
Very excited for this album.

Did you guys know that Noah Lennox is a collaborator in the making of this album? Pretty wild to think about.

I woke up like 30 minutes ago. It's beautiful outside and I have all the windows in my dorm room open. Blasting the fuck out of MPP for the first time in two years. Really enjoying myself right now.

That doesn't really have anything to do with anything, just wanted to put it out there. I'm having a good time.

Just settled on The Jesus Lizard's Goat. It's been far too long since I blasted this shit. I still remember when Paves sent me a mediafire link to download this shit like 3 years ago or something. Life altering.

I just spent 30 minutes reading old SOMB threads about Pitchfork Music Festival 2009. Some of Paves posts about the excitement of going to see The Jesus Lizard are awesome and exactly as I remembered them.
P4k 09 was my first concert ever. For some reason I hadn't slept the previous night at all and I stood in front of the stage for upwards of 2 hours waiting for them to come out. David Yow hit the stage, grabbed his corded microphone, and immediately leaped into the crowd while the band banged out "Boilermaker". Yow landed directly on top of where I was standing and my 15 year old self got absolutely crushed to death by the crowd and ended up falling to my knees.
The whole experiencing was the most physically exhausting and incredible shit of my life. Needless to say, I'm still trying to find a concert going experience that can match it. Might as well stop trying.

Even my mom likes 'Get Lucky', and she doesn't listen to any music that was made after 1980. Got a feeling this record is gon be huge.

This sounds like the soundtrack to Yancy's Pinball Porno Fantasy.
