Oh man the Gregg Turkington call on the latest show talking about Steely Dan was outstanding. Entire show was awesome.

Re: The Best Show on WFMU
This week’s Best Show started off with a caller from Seattle who was returning from a fishing trip. He refused to tell Tom what river he was fishing because he didn’t want to reveal his secret spot.
Which of course fired Tom up as he not only couldn’t believe this guy would be so protective of this info but also that the amount of Best Show listeners that fish is probably very small.
Anyway, this reminded me of a few years ago when I was in Seattle for work and I was spending the weekend there to hang out since I’d never spent much time in that region. I wanted to go hiking but the client would only give me “tourist trails” and refused to tell me their “personal hiking spots” out of fear I’d expose these spots to the world and ruin them.

I wonder how much the show will change now that it’s moving to LA

Conan O'Brien is interviewing the Gorch right now on the 24 Hour live show. Historic moment that I cant believe I'm witnessing live.

I’m listening through all the 24 hour show segments now. I cannot believe how great the show has been throughout the entire time. Even when Tom stepped away the Slice of Life segment was more entertaining than in previous attempts.

Curious if anyone is watching the Twitch streams of the show now?

Re: The Best Show on WFMU
I have not watched the Twitch streams but have also never once in my life been on Twitch.
I do like how they post video of show highlights on Instagram now. Fun to see some of the guest reactions. Matt Berry was on yesterday’s show!
